On February 17, 2008, the Serbian Southern province of Kosovo declared
independence from the Republic of Serbia and proclaimed itself the new

Just because it's break doesn't mean you shouldn't have notes!

Notes from our KCSA Secretary:

Ok I know I’m lame, but I can't help but send out an edition of notes over spring break. I mean, for those of us not in Florida or Cancun, what are we going to do?? We’re going to read e-mails that are what we're going to do. I’ve even made it colorful so that at least your inbox will look bright even if it's not bright outside. Yes, I’m bitter, I’m in Champaign. For those of you lucky enough to be elsewhere enjoy it!

We have four things on our agenda today, but I’d like to call your attention to two of them: the KRANNERT LOCK-IN that we'll be hosting March 29 and the extra volunteering opportunities coming up soon. Please read these sections and get back to us right away if you'd like to join in and help out!

1. LOCK-IN!!!
2. Extra volunteering opportunities
3. Volunteer preview night
4. tours training!
.........

1. So we here at kasha have decided to do something unprecented at krannert. Something so new, exciting and totally rocking that we want as much participation as possible!! That’s right; we're having a lock-in at krannert!! It’s going to happen the night of Saturday, march 29 (the Saturday after we get back from break, if I’m not mistaken). while we're not sure on all of the final details, you have this to look forward to: food (of course!), guitar hero and other video games, movies, dance parties, board games, twister, sardines/hide and seek, laser tag, lobby bowling, and if you can even imagine it, a hula hoop competition! Ahhahahah so basically we can all become kids again and stay up really late and eat junk food and tell ghost stories and play hide and seek. I think it sounds AMAZING and we're really excited about it. Please let me know if you're interested! Feel free to come as early or late as you want, stay as late as you want, and bring friends if you want! But just so I can have an idea about how much food and supplies to get, e-mail me as a reply to this one or at mmcmill2@uiuc.edu and let me know if you're interested! We’d also like your input--what do you think we should do?? E-mail me with any ideas! Hope to see you there!
.........

2. There several extra volunteer opportunities coming up at Krannert. The following is a detailed list of what's coming up and what your responsibilities would be. (Warning: it's kind of long, so take a deep breath...)
